We are now preparing for our third season and are looking forward to welcoming everyone to Chatel for the coming 2009/2010 season. With winter fast approaching the holiday periods are filling fast so to be sure to send your request today to have the best chance of reserving the courses you want.

We will have a stronger team for the coming season with six full time Instructors and we welcome back Mark De Rosenwerth who worked for us in the first season we also expect Tamsin and Mark Elliott to be working with us again Lucia Glass-Davies will be new to Chatel this season and will bring a lot of talent and experience to the team,- so we will have a team with great experience and Knowledge of all areas of this great resort. Both Helen and I having skied all over the world chose Chatel and in particular Pre la Joux , because we believe it offers the best skiing in Europe for all levels of skiers, and its mixture of French and Swiss culture creates a wonderful ambience, food and friendliness, which is why these top class Instructors are keen to come and work with us. Chatel is just a stones throw from Switzerland, an easy ride from Geneva airport. It is a traditional French alpine village that oozes charm. There are plenty of buses and shuttles, bistros, restaurants and bars. There’s also plenty of family après ski too including ice skating, ice fishing, torchlight descents, childrens' shows and concerts. As well as miles and miles and miles of fabulous pistes and off piste too.
Snowboarding: We are pleased to welcome Dan Burton to our team who is an excellent Rider and Teacher, Dan is currently working in New Zealand training Snowboard Instructors and is an examiners for the BASI Instructor Training system. Dan is looking forwards to riding the fantastic terrain available in Chatel.
The French Alps is a great place to ski and our clients tell us that because we are all native English speaking teachers and run small group sizes we make instruction with BASS much more fun and so much more rewarding.
Our PRIVATE LESSONS are the most flexible way to develop your skiing, with INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED CLINICS for small groups that are a great way to ski with guaranteed success. Fun CHILDRENS COURSES are safe learning environments that kids really enjoy and our BEGINNERS LESSONS get everyone off to a flying start.
Although our class starts and durations are set we do try to be flexible especially for those arriving in resort mid-week or with young children. Where to meet us at the resort?
Equipment Hire Discount from 'Pre La Joux Sports'
We have arranged a discount with Pre La Joux Sports for a 10% discount on equipment hire for anybody who books lessons with us the great advantage of Pre La Joux Sports is that they are less than 100metres from our meeting place and if you hire equipment for the week then you are able to leave the equipment at the shop overnight. Thus avoiding carrying your skis and boots to the chalet every evening. To get your discount just show the shop your lessons confirmation note or quote the confirmation reference number in your e-mail.
