After a great day of ski training on the slopes of Meribel and Courchevel the BASS team of instructors decided to reward our selves with some authentic Indian cuisine. We are all regulars at the Tsaretta bar in Les Allues, so when we heard about the new Tsaretta Spice in Meribel, we had to try it. We all agreed the food was great and reasonably priced, and the restaurant is now a firm favourite with the BASS team.
Located in Altitude 1600 (Morel) just above the main town, Tsaretta Spice brings you contemporary Indian cuisine of the highest quality.
Their Head Chef, Yousuf Mohammed, and his team of experienced Indian chefs bring you an exciting and original menu of amazing dishes. Yousuf comes from a legacy of some of the best Indian restaurants in the UK, including The Bombay Brasserie, Dishoom, Imli (Tamarind), Veeraswamy and Mint & Mustard.
Under new ownership from the Summer of 2016, this bar and restaurant has been totally transformed with aspirations to become one of Meribel’s ‘go to’ places - relax after a fun day on the slopes and enjoy some of the best food in town.
They are open every day from 18.00 until late with last orders being taken at 22.30.
It is advisable to book your table well in advance - large parties welcome.
Tsaretta Spice is the sister venue of Tsaretta, located in Les Allues, just a short taxi or bus ride from the centre of Meribel. Tsaretta is a friendly, exciting bar and restaurant - open all year round, it provides a great venue to meet, relax, have a drink, enjoy some delicious food and party to the Meribel Valley’s best live bands.
