Chatel confirmed today that they will be opening lifts in both the Pre La Joux and Super Chatel areas, it is expected that colder temperatures at the begining of next week will further consolidate the snow pack. This means that we will be able to run all of the lessons as scheduled in Chatel.

I just wanted to express a massive thank you to Bob for last week, I was on the intermediate course which ended up being himself, me and my dad (Graham).
I had such a fantastic week and it really was all thanks to him, my skiing has come on so much and everyone I was with on the trip was so pleased for me to have had great instruction and help in both skill and confidence to my skiing.
The week was a bit hit and miss with weather which luckily allowed us to experience all types of snow conditions, I learnt technique as well as being able to just enjoy the surroundings, ending with a very enjoyable last lesson exploring out into Linderes and Avoriaz.
One thing I took from him was something I won’t ever forget, “you can learn as much as you like but 90% of skiing is enjoying yourself”.
Please pass on this message, Thanks Bob- I really do hope to ski with you again one day!
