The Mindful Skiing & Being camp has a weighting towards learning about and applying mindfulness to the learning process of developing your skiing. The coaching is designed to move you into mindful learning where self awareness of body and mind are increased. Coaching is for 3 hours per day Monday though to Friday, and early evenings are spent reviewing the day and learning about the applications of mindfulness.
Prior knowledge and a practice of mindfulness is helpful although not essential, the deeper your understanding and practice of mindfulness is the more meaning we can provide in the application to learning and skiing. Skiing ability levels will be around basic paralleling on reds (intermediate) however with small group size maximum 6/8, we can cater for skiers above this level within the group. The focus is on exploring mindfulness in the skiing mountain context and not on high level all mountain skiing.
