Becci Malthouse
Becci has been a co-director of BASS Morzine since 2000. She also works as a trainer of instructors for the British Association of Snowsport Instructors as well as a 'Snowboard Expert' for the Daily Mail Ski and Snowboard Magazine.

Becci has taught ski and snowboarding for 20 years in Scotland, Europe and South America. An ex-British champion snowboarder, Becci enjoys wake-boarding on Lake Geneva during the summer months.

James (Jaz) Lamb
Jaz has been co-director of BASS Morzine since 2000. He also works as a trainer of instructors for the British Association of Snowsport Instructors. He has recently been selected to represent BASI at the 2011 Insterski Congress in St Anton.

He has taught skiing for over 20 years, working in Scotland, Andorra & Italy before settling in Morzine.  He is a former mogul coach for the Scottish National Freestyle Ski Squad.

Through the Summer he works as a sailing coach racing sports boats and 40 ft yachts.  In 2008 he won the Beneteau 40.7 National Championships and he recently won the 2009 Eurosaf Beneteau 40.7 European Championships.

Andy Jerram
Andy works as a trainer of instructors for BASI and is involved with training courses all over the Alps. He joined BASS Morzine in 2005/06 after years of teaching in the 3 Valleys area.

Andy is an accomplished wake-boarder and you can often find him seeking out new wake-board spots all over Europe in the summer. He works at a wake-board center at Rother Valley in Sheffield which is a great place to go to learn the sport.

His main interests outside skiing and wakeboarding are fine food and fine wines!

Ambrogio McClintock
Ambrogio aka Ricey joined BASS Morzine in 2004/2005.  He has been teaching skiing and snowboarding for over 14 years throughout Europe, in Italy, Spain, France and Scotland.  Ricey holds the International Ski Teacher Diploma.

In the Summer you will find him back in Edinburgh managing the front of house team for the Udderbelly venue as part of the Edinburgh Comedy Festival.  The past summer saw him become a married man with the first ever BASS Morzine wedding to Helena.

Brian Dods
Brian is an experienced and accomplished ski teacher and is re-joining our team after recently completing his International Ski Teacher Diploma. He started teaching skiing in 2001 and spent a season in Bavaria teaching the British Army to ski!

Prior to his skiing career he was an accountant for 10 years (he says "adding up numbers and ensuring they equaled zero!"), he now spends his summer in the Med working with his wife on a superyacht!

Buster Cheetham
Buster has been living in the Italian Alps for a number of years and having recently completed his ISTD qualification has decided to join the BASS Morzine team for 2008/9. Prior to this Buster has spent the past seasons ski teaching in the Aosta Valley, Italy (Pila, Courmayeur and La Thuile.)

Passing his summer time in the Italian Alps, Buster participates in a range of sports and has a passion for wildlife and nature photography.

Craig Wilson
Craig has just completed his Diploma qualification after spending many years teaching in Scotland and Italy.  He is a very experienced ski teacher and we are very excited that he is joining our team.  He married Dani earlier this summer!

Dani Bosher
Dani has been skiing since she was 2 years old! A former member of the British Ski Team, she has taught in Les Deux Alpes, Val D’Isere before joining BASS Morzine in 2005/06.

Dani is also an accomplished Race Coach with much success coaching skiers through their European Speed Test.

When she is not skiing, she enjoys all sports and has recently taken a shine to wind-surfing and wakeboarding. Dani has just got married to Craig, our first husband and wife instructor team!

Kevin Turner
•    BASI International Ski teacher Diploma

Kevin has been teaching skiing for many years and made the move from the 3 Valleys to BASS Morzine for the season 2007/8.  He has taught extensively across Europe.

His main interests, aside from his family, are:

•    Alpine skiing
•    Sailing
•    Climbing
•    Trying to build a chalet in France!

Kevin has been a great addition to our team since day one and returns home to the Lake District where he spends the summer working as an Outdoor and Adventure Instructor. 

Elaine Adam
Elaine joined BASS Morzine in 2005/06, she is a former British Ski Team member and also works as a trainer of instructors for BASI.

In the summer Elaine heads to New Zealand which means she spends around 9 months a year teaching skiing at all levels.

Kevin Mochrie

Andy Hayward
Andy is a very experienced ski teacher gaining his International Ski Teacher Diploma in 1991.  Andy has a real job as a management consultant and is always an inspirational and popular Instructor.

John Angella
We are delighted to have John joining our team, he is an incredibly experienced instructor and former BASI Trainer.

Jules Monk
 Jules joined BASS Morzine as Office Manager in autumn 2007. Previously she had worked in that role for a large ski school in Courchevel but a farmhouse to renovate in the Morzine valley prompted her to join BASS Morzine.

Her main interests are:

•    Skiing
•    Snowboarding
•    Renovating her house!

Amy Morris
Amy is joining us in the office.  She has a great passion for skiing, having skied since she was 4.  After spending three winters working in chalets it was only a matter of time before she moved over to the Alps for good!

She has now been living near Morzine for two years with her husband and they are currently renovating their farmhouse.

She enjoys all things outdoors, especially walking in the mountains.
