Les Deux Alpes is undoubtedly the home of summer skiing as it boasts the world’s largest skiable glacier. The terrain is perfect for learning to ski and board, and for intermediates or advanced skiers there are 14 ski lifts, 8 pistes and a large snow park with half pipe, boarder cross and multiple rails and jumps. This extensive summer ski area has something for everyone with 110 hectares of groomed ski area! The glacier is open every day from 07.15 – 13. We offer lessons of all levels, plus performance camps for advanced skiers, and race training.
Fine Tuning clinic: 5 mornings £250
This is for skiers who want to become more versatile; learn to carve, ski bumps more easily and enjoy the sensations of spring snow. We can include an introduction to freestyle skiing and/or try out your carving skills around some slalom gates. Learn to become more versatile and adjust techniques and tactics to deal with whatever the mountain has to offer. The summer ski area has lots of gentle terrain, enabling you to build confidence and make changes in your skiing.
Learn to Ski Week: 5 mornings £250
Do you have friends or family who still haven’t got the ski bug? Why not try skiing in the summer. The glacier has plenty of gentle terrain and a dedicated beginner’s area. The hill is only open in the morning, so sunny afternoons can be spent by the pool, on the golf course, playing tennis... etc.

It is difficult to put into words just how many and varied are the activities available here in the summer! Between mid June and the end of August, hundreds of shops, restaurants and business’s are open and ready to welcome you. L2A is quite unlike other alpine resorts, many of which seem ‘asleep’ out with the ski season – L2A is bustling, vibrant and very much awake!
Just a few out of the over 100 activities available; 9 hole golf course, ice-skating, luge, outdoor trampolines, deval-karts, driving range, downhill MTB, canyoning, horse riding, climbing walls, via ferrata, tennis, rafting, five a side football, quad biking, archery, bowling, hydro-speeding, fishing, volleyball, tree top adventure park, mini-golf, paintballing, paragliding, road biking etc, etc! There are of course outdoor swimming pools in the resort too.
