Author of Ski Performance Breakthrough - the great new e-book

Hugh works with individuals and companies to build a better understanding of the process of success through his advanced Performance Breakthrough Programme, using advanced teaching techniques based on skiing clinics and off pistes courses.

He also runs training courses and exams for ski instructors.

Originally a research chemist, working for the Cancer Research Campaign, Hugh began skiing in 1975 and became a full time ski teacher in 1984, to get out of the lab and into the mountains.
He has skied extensively throughout Europe and also in Canada, Argentina and Greenland.

He is a Trainer and examiner of instructors for the British Association of Snowsports instructors, a role in which he has been actively involved since 1989 and he represented Britain as a member of the GB Demostration Team, at the 1991 Interski Congress, in St Anton.

Hugh wrote and presented the 1991 Channel 4 TV and video series "The Complete Skier" and in the same year he founded BASS – British Alpine Ski and Snowboard School.

Beginning with BASS Les Gets the BASS Network has grown and extended to 10 resorts across the Alps.

    * Motorcycling
    * Music – playing guitar and co-organising the annual Les Gets Blues Festival, which brings together several groups of very special people, to provide a week of great music every March.
