Construction is well underway in Domain Saint Gervais for the new Epaule chairlift. The old two person chair that goes up to the shoulder of Mont Joly will be replaced with a 6 person high speed detachable chair. This will be a welcome upgrade especially as it is on the higher altitude part of the domain. The skiing from this point is excellent with good off piste options and access to Saint Nicolas De Veroce.

The Evasion Mont Blanc's well known areas include Megeve, Saint Gervais and Les Contamines but it has some fantastic hidden gems like Combloux which can be accessed from the opposite side of Megeve town (Jaillet). 

Summer and Winter this is a fabulous area with lovely rolling hills, great restaurants and quiet slopes (outside of French holidays)

There is an excellent exhibition at the Maison Forte de Hautetour in Saint Gervais les Bains featuring the;
"Maison transfrontaliere des guides Saint-Gervais Courmayeur"
This exhibition is well worth a look and is currently FOC.

We were up at Le Bettex yesterday (the mid station of the St. Gervais ski area) and it was busy with summer activities with lots of people walking, mountain biking and quad biking. There is also some building activity going on with one of the slopeside hotels being rebuilt.
