Don’t miss Nyon when skiing in Morzine

The Nyon area is accessible from the Morzine Pleney slopes as well as directly by cable car from village level. A treat not to be missed during your holiday is the daily bird-of-prey shows presented by the ‘Eagles of Leman’. More than a show, they are a conservation centre based locally, on Lake Geneva, whose mission is to educate the public about these beautiful birds. Their mission includes reintroducing sea eagles to our local area, studying raptor behaviour and conservation throughout Europe.

If you miss their show times you can view and visit the birds all day by the Nyon restuarant

If you are lucky, you may find the birds flying with their keepers on the slopes as you ski.

A firm favourite is the snowy owl, aka Hedwig
