We at BASS are again running our hugely successful BEST training program for aspiring BASI level 3's & 4's.With programs for 1, 8 or 16 weeks containing all the elements required for BASI.
The training is delivered by BASI Trainers and experienced ISTD's
Upto 60% Sponsorship towards training fees!
We believe in developing for the future and have worked very hard to create a pathway beyond BASI level 2.Aspiring British instructors can now Train in France with those that have the skill and experience to take them to the next level.
Work placements are available for the peak times for BASS trainees to gain experience and achieve earnings.
Internships and workers lift passes available. Travel, accommodation and in resort assistance.

BEST is a group of highly motivated and highly qualified ski coaches, including BASI Trainers.
Over the past 5 years they have helped 100's of student to successfully achieve BASI qualifications.
BEST students have passed ISIA exams at well above the BASI average.
Many have gone on, with our help, to achieve ski teaching positions in Switzerland, Japan & USA.
BASS/BEST course content
BASS level 3 & 4 course - 16 weeks.
Each 5 day week will consist of:
· Three hours of on snow training or video feedback x 4 days x 10 weeks.
· Three hour teaching session x 1 day X 10 weeks
· Three to six weeks shadowing the BASS team
· Two hours each morning of structured practice on points highlighted by your trainer (Recommended)
· Home study or the BASI manual or BASS project. (Recommended)
· Work experience teaching with Swiss or Italian ski schools
· Mid season technical assessment.

Linking the Fe's to Piste performance. - Steeps, bumps and variables level 3 & 4 standards.

Deliver teaching sessions to your peers. - Receive feedback and action plane for each teaching session.
Observer teaching sessions. - Participate in the review of teaching sessions.
Class management at higher levels. - Understanding the teaching tools.
Understanding and using the performance threads. - Understanding and using the TIED model.
Working with outcomes to develop higher level performance.
Motivating athletes to success. - Identifying and achieving personal goals.
